The Building

“What is it?” David asked as he turned and looked out the direction that Hema pointed.

David looked up towards the building. It was leaning; he could see it moving ever so slowly, ten floors above ground all poised to fall at some point.

The car took off down the street.

David watched as long as he could out of the glass and back at the building for the Agency.

The building became easier to see as it fell to the ground.

The ten stories reached across the street and into the area where David and Hema had just been.

The cloud was coming. If Hema was quick enough, then she would be able to keep the car from being engulfed in the debris cloud.
